Refund Policy

1. Booking Cancellations

Our refund policy for gig bookings is based on the timing of the cancellation:

More than 7 Days Before Gig

Full refund minus a 5% processing fee. Both musicians and organizations can cancel with minimal penalty.

3-7 Days Before Gig

50% refund. A cancellation fee applies to compensate for the short notice and potential lost opportunities.

Less than 3 Days Before Gig

No refund. Last-minute cancellations significantly impact the other party and are not eligible for refunds.

2. Emergency Cancellations

We understand that emergencies happen. The following situations may qualify for exception to our standard cancellation policy:

  • Medical emergencies (documentation required)
  • Family emergencies
  • Natural disasters or severe weather
  • Venue closures or force majeure events

Emergency cancellations must be reported immediately and may require supporting documentation. Each case is reviewed individually by our support team.

3. Subscription Refunds

For premium subscription plans:

  • Monthly subscriptions: Cancel anytime, no refund for current month
  • Annual subscriptions: Prorated refund available within first 30 days
  • After 30 days: No refund, but service continues until end of billing period
  • Free trial cancellations: No charges if cancelled before trial ends

4. No-Show Policy

Musician No-Show

If a musician fails to appear for a confirmed booking without prior notice, the organization receives a full refund and the musician may face account suspension.

Organization No-Show

If an organization cancels on the day of the gig or the venue is unavailable, the musician receives full payment and the organization is charged a penalty fee.

5. Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method and financial institution.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Log into your RAJ account
  2. Navigate to the booking in question
  3. Click "Request Refund" or contact support
  4. Provide reason and any supporting documentation
  5. Wait for review (typically 2-3 business days)
